Could the specific Wii U delay really have something to do with the release of MK8 which is on May 30th (within 3 days of WD release). After this announcement it seems more plausible to think that this is the case, maybe Ubisoft wants to benefit from the expected Wii U sales spike following MK 8 release and at the same time avoid releasing the game on Wii U within three days of MK 8.
But the downside is that many Wii U owners like myself have other consoles as well as PC, and...

I played the game but haven't finished it though. From what I played it's mediocre at best, very generic, linear and to be honest, boring, but I guess that's what gamers want these days especially in the UK.
One of the best games I've ever played. Excellent in every category that makes a game a game. The sad thing is that new age "gamers" who're exclusively interested in movie-like games and dudebro shooters will overlook it and eagerly anticipate, hype and play much lower quality games.

This game's frame rate dips to 9-10 on ps4. I can't focus while I play something like that. And the game is mediocre at best.
To be honest, this is the smallest leap between generations I've seen since I started playing games befor almost 30 years. Please don't blindly disagree.
I just downloaded this game and it's a very addictive little puzzler and a good 3ds game on the go. Recommended.

This game has just sucked me in and doesn't wanna let me go! it's intense, challenging, well designed and extremely polished graphically and performance-wise, the music alone is worth 10/10. Do yourself a favor and don't miss it.

I hope this game gets well polished as it would be surly successful on Wii U because Nintendo fans (me included) will do anything to get WaveRace or a WaveRace-like game. I'll be keeping my eyes on this as it develops. Great news.
DKCTF is all kinds of awesome and particularly in the Graphics/Performance departments and not only in gameplay/level design.
The individual hairs on DK and other kongs(including Cranky's beard!!) are very impressive to say the least and personally speaking I haven't seen anything like that in a game before. The backgrounds and the foregrounds have huge levels of intricate detail that just look very beautiful and runs in perfect 60 fps.
RETRO did what they wan...
This game is a contemporary masterpiece and a future classic to add to the stable of timeless game design classics, it is that good, at least for me.
